Archive Current Data

The Year Over Year field of the Dashboard is used to archive and update your Compensation Management plan for next year. Users can create an archive of their compensation management plan, which will include Pay Grade, Merit Increases, Incentives, Employee Lists, and Budgets.

 

Archiving will save your compensation data for viewing and download.  Only one archive can be supported per year.  You can view and download the archived report under the Downloads & Reports tab of Compensation Management.

 

Updating your compensation report for next year will shift current salary figures, zero out yearly variables, move the date of increase by one year, and increase years of experience by one.  Employees at maximum experience for their indicated ERI Job Title will stay at that experience.

 

To Archive Current Data

1.In Compensation Management, navigate to the Dashboard.

2.In the Year Over Year field, click Archive Current Data and Update for Next Year.

3.In Archive Compensation Data, select the Employee List and Archive Year.

4.Click OK.

5.A message will confirm that the selected Employee List has been archived and updated for next year.

6.Click OK to return to the Dashboard and start a new compensation plan for next year.

 

To Download the Archived Report

1.In Compensation Management, navigate to the Downloads & Reports tab.

2.Select the Employee-Archived from the Compensation Report drop-down menu.

3.Select the Employee List.

4.Click the Download Report button to open OR save the Excel file.
