The Salary Increases sub-tab of Rewards allows you to control salary increases based on an employee’s performance, compa ratio, or market index.
To Add a Salary Increase Plan Manually
1.Navigate to the Rewards tab of Compensation Management.
2.Navigate to the Salary Increases sub-tab.
3.Select one of these plans:
•General Plan
•Compa Ratio Plan
•Market Index Plan
4.Click the button.
5.Enter a name for this salary increase plan and click OK.
6.Click the Add Performance Level button to enter a row of data in the table.
To Import a Salary Increase Plan
1.Navigate to the Rewards tab of Compensation Management.
2.Navigate to the Salary Increases sub-tab.
3.Select one of these plans:
•General Plan
•Compa Ratio Plan
•Market Index Plan
4.Click the button to download and save a .CSV file template.
5.Open the .CSV file template using a spreadsheet program like Microsoft Excel.
6.Enter a list of salary increase plan data. Required columns are marked with an asterisk (*).
7.Once the list is complete, save the file in a .CSV (comma delimited) format.
8.Click the button.
9.In the Upload Salary Increase Plan modal, enter the name to be used to save this list.
10.Click Browse to select a file in the .CSV format and then click Open. Then click Upload.
11.In the Upload list from file dialog, the rows that have been successfully imported are displayed. If the .CSV file contains any errors, then a message will display the number of errors encountered during the import and will list the data needing review.
12.To export the results to Excel, click .
13.In the Choose Export Preferences dialog, select one of more of these options to export:
•Errors
•Warnings
•Successes
14.Click OK in the Choose Export Preferences dialog.
15.Click OK in the Upload list from file dialog.

To Customize Performance Ranges
1.Navigate to the Rewards tab of Compensation Management.
2.Navigate to the Salary Increases sub-tab.
3.Select one of these plans:
•Compa Ratio Plan
•Market Index Plan
4.Create your Compa Ratio Plan OR Market Index Plan by entering it manually or by importing a .CSV file (see To Add Salary Increase Plans Manually and To Import Salary Increase Plans above).
5.Click Customize Range to open the Customize Range dialog.
6.Enter values to define the ranges in your organization's compensation plan.
7.Click Reset to Default to use default ranges, if desired.
8.Click OK.
Note: You cannot customize performance ranges for the General Plan option.
To Rename a Salary Increase Plan
4.Navigate to the Rewards tab of Compensation Management.
5.Navigate to the Salary Increases sub-tab.
6.Select one of these plans:
•General Plan
•Compa Ratio Plan
•Market Index Plan
7.Click the button.
8.Enter a new name for the salary increase plan.
9.Click the OK button.
To Save a Copy of a Salary Increase Plan
1.Navigate to the Rewards tab of Compensation Management.
2.Navigate to the Salary Increases sub-tab.
3.Select one of these plans:
•General Plan
•Compa Ratio Plan
•Market Index Plan
4.Click the button.
5.Enter a new name for the salary increase plan copy.
6.Click the OK button.
To Delete a Salary Increase Plan
1.Navigate to the Rewards tab of Compensation Management.
2.Navigate to the Salary Increases sub-tab.
3.Select one of these plans:
•General Plan
•Compa Ratio Plan
•Market Index Plan
4.To delete a single row in the table, highlight a row of data in the table and click the button.
5.To delete all rows in the saved table, click the button.
6.To delete the saved table entirely, click the Delete button.
