The Executive Compensation Assessor includes both area filters and job filters.
When you use a area filter, the areas listed in the Browse Areas dialog are limited to only those found in the selected region, making it easier for you to browse the areas you want to see. The default filter is All Areas, which displays all areas in ERI's database.
To Filter Areas
1.From any of the main tables: In Organization Data, click the Browse button in the Area field to open the Browse Areas dialog.
From Advanced Reports: Double-click on a row in the Areas table OR click the  button to open the Browse Areas dialog. |
2.In the Browse Areas dialog, select one of the five available filters:
•All Locations
•User-Defined Averages
•United States
•Canada
•Europe
3.Continue to select your desired area.
When you use a job filter, the jobs listed in the Browse Areas dialog are limited to All ERI Jobs, Hybrid Jobs, or Jobs by Industry, making it easier for you to browse the jobs you want to see. The default filter is All ERI Jobs, which displays all jobs in ERI's database.
To Filter Jobs
1.From Individual Profile OR Total Compensation, begin typing a search string (i.e., the name of the job you are looking for) in the Job Title field and click on the desired job listed OR click the Browse button in the Job Title field to open the Browse Jobs dialog.
From Benchmark List, click the  button to open the Browse Jobs dialog. To change a job already displayed in the table, click on the selected job and then click the Browse button to open the Browse Jobs dialog. |
| From Survey & Proxy Analyses, double-click in a blank cell in the Job column to open the Browse Jobs dialog. |
| From Advanced Reports, double-click on a row in the Jobs table OR click the button to open the Browse Jobs dialog. |
2.Click the drop-down Filters menu to select how jobs will be displayed in the dialog:
•All Jobs (the default)
•ERI Jobs -- this option will display all ERI jobs available in the user's subscription level.
•Hybrid Jobs -- this options will display only hybrid jobs.
•Jobs by Industry -- this option will display only those jobs related to the user's currently selected industry.
•Internal Jobs -- displays only those jobs in the selected job list saved in an Organization profile (See note below)
3.Continue to select your desired job.
Note: Enhanced subscriptions that include My Organizations allow users to match their internal job titles to ERI job titles in saved internal job lists.
