Pay Equity

Pay Equity is a feature of Workforce Insights in Compensation Management that allows subscribers to compare compensation between two groups of a protected group, such as age range, disability, gender, national origin, race, religion, and sexual orientation.

To Analyze Pay Equity for a Protected Group

1.Navigate to the Employee List in Compensation Management.

2.Choose an Employee List.

3.Click on Workforce Insights and select Pay Equity.

4.Select a Protected Group:

Age Range

Sexual Orientation

5.Select a compensation type under Differences in:

Total Compensation

6.Select two groups to compare under Two Group Comparison.  To replace a comparison group already listed, click and select another group from the drop-down menu.

7.Select a Control Variable (a variable that is held constant or unchanged in the analysis):

Job Title (default)

Department

Location

Seniority

8.Click Calculate.

9.Click OK to return to the Employee List.

Note: If a Control Variable is displayed in grey, then the Employee List does not have data populated for that variable.  Add data to the Employee List to select that Control Variable.
