To Export to an Excel Spreadsheet
1.Click the button in the upper-right corner of the screen.
2.For Advanced Reports, select one of the Excel export formats described below:
•Long Format (available for reports with fewer than 40,000 title/area combinations). This option allows more data to be displayed vertically and increases the chance for data to be truncated due to an excessive amount of rows. This is the default option matching the display format used in the application.
•Wide Format (available for reports with fewer than 250,000 title/area combinations). This option allows more data to be displayed horizontally and reduces the chance for data to be truncated due to an excessive amount of rows.
•Very Wide Format (available for reports of all sizes). This option places each job/area on a single line, which maximizes the number of jobs and areas that can be exported.
3.For Advanced Reports, select one or more of the following compensation types to include in the export:
•Base Salaries
•Incentive
•Total Cash
4.For Advanced Reports, select CSV Format to export Predefined List Report in enhanced editions of the Salary Assessor. This option uses the Long Format and allows the export of All ERI Jobs in 100 or fewer areas OR 100 or fewer jobs in All ERI Areas, depending on the selections made in the Advanced Reports table.
5.Click OK.
Note: For extremely large Advanced Reports exports, if the number of rows to be exported exceeds the Excel limit, then some of the export format options may be unavailable. To export very large reports with more than 10,000 rows of data, use the Download Center.
