QUESTION:  Is the XA database a historical database? If I run a report one quarter using a past date, then run a report the next quarter using the same past date, will the salaries reported be different?

 

The Executive Compensation Assessor reports the most recent, available salary data each quarter.

 

When you set the Planning Date back in time, the application uses an algorithm which yields values from the annualized trend, which can be changed by the user.

 

The comparable companies feature (in the Survey & Proxy Analyses screen), on the other hand, does contain static historical data by company. See Refine List for more information on downloading historical proxies and 10-Ks. Please note: ERI is still in the process of building this historical database; however, we believe that it is already one of the largest historical depositories available.
