The Salary Planning table allows the user to add, import, show/hide, and rename Departments and Sub-Departments.
Click on Departments to use the New, Show, or Rename features.
To Create a New Department
1.Click New
2.Select Create New Department
3.Enter a name for the new Department and click OK
To Create a New Sub-Department
1.Select a Department.
2.Click New.
3.Select Create New Sub-Department
4.Enter a name for the new Sub-Department and click OK
To Import a List of Departments
To Show or Hide Sub-Departments
Click on the main department name to show or hide the sub-departments OR select Show | Show Sub-Departments or Show | Hide Sub-Departments.
To Rename a Department or Sub-Department
1.Select a Department or Sub-Department and click Rename.
2.Enter a new name for the Department or Sub-Department and click OK.
To access any of the functions described above, users may also right-click on a selected Department or Sub-Department and choose from this list of options: New Department OR Sub-Department, Show/Hide Sub-Departments, Rename, and Delete.
In addition to New, Show/Hide, and Rename, this list has an additional option: Delete.
