QUESTION:  What are the sources of data for salaries by level of responsibility (Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3)?

 

Salaries may be reported by level in the Job Report, Benchmark List, Geographic List, Advanced Reports, and Compensation Management for non-executive jobs, with director and executive jobs reported by organization size. Salaries reported by level are based on matching ERI Survey Descriptions with job/survey descriptions of available salary survey sources. The analysis for Salaries by Level uses the same sources as the Salaries by Experience/Size page, but the data are analyzed based on differences in level within the underlying surveys instead of differences in years of experience.
