QUESTION:  Is the Salary Assessor database a historical database? If I run a report one release using a past date, then run a report the next release using the same past date, will the salaries/wages reported be different?

 

The Salary Assessor reports the most recently available salary data in updates released twice each quarter.

 

When you set the Planning Date back in time, the application uses an algorithm which yields values from the annualized trend which can be adjusted by the user.

 

On the other hand, the Survey & Proxy Analyses and Comparables screens of the Executive Compensation Assessor do contain static historical data by company in the form of 10-K, Proxy, and other source documents, as available.  The Nonprofit Comparables Assessor similarly contains static historical data by company in Forms 990 and other source documents, as available.
