QUESTION: How does the Geographic Assessor determine the closest ERI city?  Is the closest match based on geography only or does it also take into account population, number of jobs, large companies in the area, etc.?

 

The closest ERI area is determined by latitude and longitude only.  This applies to both cities within a radius and the ZIP code search features.  Users are encouraged to review the results of the geographic match for other factors that may be relevant to the specific characteristics of their analyses.
