The Geographic Assessor Sector analysis allows for customization of geographic differentials to a selected sector for U.S. locations in the Cost of Labor List. This allows organizations to make decisions that are more targeted to their specific situation.
To Select a Sector
1.Navigate to the Cost of Labor List.
2.Select United States Average as the Base Location.
3.Click the drop-down menu for Pre-defined Lists and select All U.S. MSA Regions for the Comparison Cities. See note.
4.Click Sector: All Sectors to open the Sectors dialog.
5.In the Sectors dialog, click on a Sector to display the NAICS Sector number and Description. See note.
6.Select a Sector.
7.Click OK to complete your Sector selection and return to the Cost of Labor List.
Note: Currently, Sector analysis is only available for a select set of sectors in the Cost of Labor List using United States Average as the Base Location and the All U.S. MSA Regions Pre-defined List as Comparison Cities. ERI plans on expanding the set of sectors available in the future.
