The following list includes sources of some of the industry classification codes used in the Assessor Series:

 

•ERI utilizes an enhanced Standard Industrial Classification (eSIC) code based on the U.S. SIC structure.

•North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) codes are at the US Department of Labor's Bureau of Labor Statistics and the US Census Bureau

•Securities & Exchange Commission’s Standard Industrial Classification (usSEC) codes are at the US Securities & Exchange Commission  

•Nonprofit National Taxonomy of Exempt Entities (NTEE) codes are at the US Internal Revenue Service, GuideStar, and the Urban Institute's National Center for Charitable Statistics.
