Salary Assessor (SA) Background

ERI's Salary Assessor (SA) reports up-to-the-present-day competitive wage, salary, and incentive survey data. Each job has been tracked over time (many since 1970) by ERI researchers who save subscribers time and expense by collecting and analyzing thousands of salary surveys. ERI’s consensus survey databases are utilized by thousands of organizations as salary guides for compensation planning. SA provides detailed salary ranges for over 12,000 positions in over 8,000 metro areas in the US, Canada, the UK, and many countries in Europe.  Salary calculations are based on user inputs for geographic area, industry, organization size, salary planning date, and pay strategy (at, below, or above market rates). Each salary report includes a complete job description derived from the Occupational Assessor(eDOT) job analysis database. Variance statistics (standard error) are provided. Salary structure planning is facilitated by a Benchmark List screen that reports the organization’s competitive position for up to 500 benchmark jobs at once. A Geographic List screen enables users to compare salaries for a single position in up to 500 locations. ERI salary tables are displayed and stored according to user specifications. Salary data may be ranked, sorted, saved, and exported to PDF. Sold on an annual subscription basis, database updates are released each quarter (see Update Available).
