Users can now update their Employee List in Compensation Management by syncing employee data pulled from an HRIS provider, including both API and SFTP. ERI supports setting up a connection with most HRIS providers, including ADP, BambooHR, Dayforce, Fuse Workforce Management, iSolved, Paychex, Paycom, Paycor, Paylocity, SAP SuccessFactors, and UKG. To Pull Data from Your HRIS Provider
1.Navigate to the Employee List in Compensation Management.
2.Click Update List to open the Update Currently Selected List dialog.
3.Under Unique Identifier, select either Employee ID OR Employee Name. Each row must have a unique identifier to ensure data are mapped accurately.
4.Click Update from HRIS.
5.In the Configuration section, select your HRIS provider from the Source drop-down list.
6.Click Download Instructions for specific instructions on generating the necessary credentials to set up the connection to your selected Source.
7.Enter your credentials under Values for the Settings required by ERI for authentication and connection to your HRIS provider.
8.Select Update Weekly to run an automated weekly sync on Fridays to the selected Employee List from your HRIS provider, as needed.
9.Click + Company ID to provide a list of company IDs associated with the selected organization profile (if applicable).
10.Click Save and Continue to navigate to the Match Fields section.
11.Use the HRIS Field tab to define the relationship between an ERI Column in the Employee List and an External Field in your HRIS.
12.Click + Add Column Mapping to add a row to the table and select fields from the drop-down lists under ERI Column and External Field.
13.Click Revert to Defaults to reset the field mappings with default mappings.
14.Select Overwrite Existing Employees to allow updates from your HRIS to overwrite values in existing Employee List records. If you do not want your HRIS to overwrite existing Employee List records, then leave this field unchecked.
15.Use the Static Value tab to prepopulate an ERI Column in the Employee List with a single Value for all employees.
16.Click + Add Mapping to add a row to the table, select an ERI Column from the drop-down list, and enter the Value.
17.Click Save and Continue to navigate to the Filter section.
18.Use the Filter section to filter employees into the selected Employee List based on specific criteria.
19.To pull all employees into one list, select "Sync all found employees to the employee list."
20.To filter employees, select an ERI Column. This is the field used to classify employees (e.g., Department, Location, or Team). Then, select Conditional Logic and enter Values from your HRIS that correspond to the group (press Enter to add).
21.To exclude one or more specific employees from the sync, click Exclude Employees.
22.In the Exclude Employee ID(s) dialog, click + Add Row and enter the Employee ID for the excluded employee. Click OK to return to the Filter section.
23.Click Finish and Update.
24.The Upload Information dialog will display the success of your data pull and display the rows that will be updated, including any employees with error status that will not be updated in the Employee List. Click on an individual employee row to see details in the Changes field, including original values and updated values.
25.Click Next.
26.The next part of the Upload Information dialog will display the new employees to add and/or the old employees to delete. Review the changes and select individual rows of data OR all rows of data to update.
27.Click OK to update the list.
Note: All distinct job titles from your employee data must be added as internal job titles within your organization profile in My Organizations.
