HRIS Sync Information

Users can now update their Employee List in Compensation Management by syncing employee data pulled from an HRIS provider, including both API and SFTP. ERI supports setting up a connection with most HRIS providers, including ADP, BambooHR, Dayforce, Fuse Workforce Management, iSolved, Paychex, Paycom, Paycor, Paylocity, SAP SuccessFactors, and UKG. Contact us at 1-800-627-3697 or info@erieri.com for more information or assistance with HRIS integration.

To Pull Data from Your HRIS Provider

.Navigate to the Employee List in Compensation Management

.Click Update from HRIS.

.In the Configuration section, select your HRIS provider from the Source drop-down list.

.Click Download Instructions for specific instructions on generating the necessary credentials to set up the connection to your selected Source.

.Enter your credentials under Values for the Settings required by ERI for authentication and connection to your HRIS provider.

.Select Update Weekly to run an automated weekly sync on Fridays to the selected Employee List from your HRIS provider, as needed.

.Select Overwrite Existing Employees to allow updates from your HRIS to overwrite values in existing Employee List records. If you do not want your HRIS to overwrite existing Employee List records, then leave this field unchecked.

.Click + Company ID to provide a list of company IDs associated with the selected organization profile (if applicable).

.Click Save and Continue to navigate to the Match Fields section.

.Use the HRIS Field tab to define the relationship between an ERI Column in the Employee List and an External Field in your HRIS.  Click + Add Column Mapping to add a row to the table and select fields from the drop-down lists under ERI Column and External Field.

.Use the Static Value tab to prepopulate an ERI Column in the Employee List with a single Value for all employees. Click + Add Mapping to add a row to the table, select an ERI Column from the drop-down list, and enter the Value.

.Click Save and Continue to navigate to the Organize Employees section.

.Use Organize Employees to filter and group a sub-set of employees into different lists to integrate into the Employee List, as needed. Select an Identifier Column from the Employee List and enter the Organization (a profile in My Organizations), the Employee List, and the Mapped Value from your HRIS that you want to include. Click + Add Row to add a row to the table. To pull all employees into one list, leave the Organize Employees table blank.

.Use Organize Employees to filter and group employees into specific Employee Lists based on criteria from their HRIS data. To pull all employees into one list, skip the Organize Employees section and proceed to Finish and Update. To filter employees, select an Identifier Column. This is the field used to classify employees (e.g., Department, Location, or Team). Click + Add Row to define the employee groups. Select the target Employee List from the drop-down list. Enter the Mapped Value from your HRIS that corresponds to the group.

.To exclude one or more specific employees from the sync, click Exclude Employees, click + Add Row, and enter the Employee ID for the excluded employee. Click OK to return to the Organize Employees section.

.Click Finish and Update.

.The Upload Information dialog will display the success of your data pull and display the rows that will be updated, including any employees with error status that will not be updated in the Employee List.  Click on an individual employee row to see details in the Changes field, including original values and updated values.

.Click Next.

.The next part of the Upload Information dialog will display the new employees to add and/or the old employees to delete.  Review the changes and select individual rows of data OR all rows of data to update.
