The COL Charts compare cost-of-living levels of the base area to the destination area. Changes made to the Two City Comparison table will be reflected in the COL Charts, allowing for analysis based on either renter or home-owner cost profiles and other user-defined assumptions.
The x-axis represents the cost-of-living expenses should the profiled person be living on an average US national or Canadian national basis. The y-axis represents the amount the individual would be expending on the same living standard in the base and destination cities.
The red and blue lines (or bars) represent the cost of living of the two cities being compared.
